Mount of the Holy Cross (an elevation of 14,009 feet), the northernmost 14er in the Sawatch Range. I backpacked in three miles in on Half Moon trail. Was a bit of a hike in because you have a 1200 ft. (ish) climb and decent over half moon pass. Camped near East Cross Creek in the evening, there are less than a dozen camping sites here so you may end up sharing. Woke up early and headed out; from the East Cross creek it took less than two and half hours to summit. Going down was easy but backpacking out of the valley was almost has hard as hiking the 14er. This was also Adventure Gnome's (abbreviated "AG" but pronounced "Aug") first 14er!
